Hello Friends! Welcome back!
It is nice to come back from a long absent. Unfortunately life events were in the middle that stop me from keep this blog running.
Enough of complaints and get with the program. For the last year I went back to visit my mom and and my son, and Yes! I have pictures to share. Also I have being making a lot of cards for my co-workers I will also share those. Some are my original designs and other were inspired (but with a twist) by other card makers.
Well this is The Basilic Of Our Lady Of Guadalupe, very important for every Catholic Mexican and all Latin American. My daughter and I were just in the mid of the yearly celebration of the Apparition of the Lady of Guadalupe to Juan Diego. People all over Mexico and Latin America come to celebrate, with dances and songs as people dressed as Aztecs, also the offered flowers and songs.
I will share more picture later. But now i will share some of the cards.
This is my version of the pop up card, those bats are just adorable! Gray and black card stock from Recollections, white card stock for the bats is from Georgia Pacific 110lb, clear embosing powder, distress ink in orange, Memento black ink, acetate strips for the bats, the stamps I'm sorry to say I don't remember because I got rid of the package sorry:(.

Unfortunately this is not a very good shot of the card, this is a christening card made for one of my co-workers. Pink card stock from Recollections, Momenta paper pack, glitter card stock from DCWV, stamps and ink from Stampin up, Cross die cut from Taylored Expressions.
Well hope you like them.
Thanks :)

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #3 - Outstanding Occasions

Hello Readers:
It is time for another challenge for Lawn Fawn.
Did you find yourself that some times this is the only way that your imagination and ideas come out of you busy brain? and also this is the only way that you can start using the stash of old supplies you got last year or year before that?? just by entering a challenge? Well at least this is the way I feel sometimes and just to add more is also the constant nagging of my husband saying "Another package? How much you spend this time??, When are you going to use all these supplies?" 😡
Anyway today I'm Going to use some of those supplies. This card is for the Lawn Fawnatics Outstanding Occasions challenge.
This card was created because one of my Niece's had to go to a wedding either Cancun or one of those resorts and obviously my brain started to think 😉.

I think this is a romantic way of say "I DO" in front of the "Great Blue Ocean".

For the card I used Georgia Pacific 110 lb card stock for card base and images.
Stamps: Lawn Fawn "Home Sweet Home, and Life is Good".
Die cuts: "Love" from Little B's handwritten set, and "arch and flowers" from Taylored Expressions Garden arbor &Gate and Arbor Accessories.
Inks:Distress inks in Spiced marmalade, Mustard seed, Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon.
Stamping Up! in Creamy caramel, Closed to cocoa and Going gray.
Memento tuxedo black, Copic and Chameleon markers, White gel pen, Bic markers in Woodsy brown and Tiki hut tan.
Others:Foam tape, Liquid glue, tape adhesive, Stickles in Crystal and Wink of Stella.

Hope you enjoy this card and hope to see you soon!

Lawn Fanatics Challenge #2

Hello Readers!

Today I'm showing you a simple interactive card for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #2. By the way I have to apologize for not mentioning this on my last post.
This card features the Easter Theme/Spring hope you like it.😊

As you can see it is a very simple slider card, but it was fun and challenging making it. This time I used several stamp and die sets from Lawn Fawn: Happy Easter, Spring Showers, Little Town Border, On The Mend, Grass border, and Slide Over.
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine, Tim Holt Distress ink for the sky to make the blue card stock more blue, Copic, Chameleon, and Bic's markers to color the images.
Flocking powder for the tail, clear embosing powder, wink of stella, foam tape, liquid glue, diamond glaze. Card stock from Georgia Pacific, Darice, Staples, and Glitter paper from Doodle Bug.

I have a lot of mix products in this project, specially some of the card stock. I found them stocked away in a bin that I hardly look at it. LOL!!

Well, hope you like it and don't forget to visit Lawn Fawnatics Blog.
Hugs :)

Happy Birthday!

Hello readers:
Today I want to share with you this fun card, that was inspired by a "I would like to visit this place one day" moment. I keep telling my daughter we have to take a trip to a nice, relaxing place like Arizona or Utah... I heard they have the most incredible Spas with a great view. So in the heat of the moment I created this fun birthday card. Hope you like it.

I used stamps and coordinating dies from Lawn Fawn: cactus "stuck on you", turtle "year two", cake "year three" and stone "critters on the savanna", faces from "love you a latte". Mountains from Pretty Pink Posh, Happy birthday from Simon Says. I color the images with Copic markers for cake, turtle and stone. For background I used Distress Inks.

Well, hope you have a great day! :)

Happy Vacation!

Hello!
How was your Easter vacation? Mine was wonderful!! I had a chance to visit my mom and at the same time we manage to have a getaway near the city. I will share a picture that I hope you like it.

This is the pyramid of the sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico. If you ever watch Ancient Aliens at the History Channel they talk about this site a lot. The ancient people of Teotihuacan build this magnificent building. You better be in shape in order to climb this, because the steps are very narrow, strait, and very high. This means that the length of your foot does not fit, you have to climb side ways and they are not the same high of traditional stairs and also gives you the feeling that you are going to fall. Anyway It was great to be there.
Now I'm going to show you a card I just made with my new stamps and die cuts from Lawn Fawn.

In this card I use stamps from Lawn Fawn: Year Three, Happy, Summer, Love you a Latte and Gingham Backdrops. From Simon Says: It's your Birthday. Memento tuxedo black in and Versafine Black Onyx. All dies are from Lawn Fawn: Party Balloons, Stitched Scalloped Borders, Stitched Hillside Borders, Grassy Border, Small Stitched Rectangles and Hello Sunshine.
See you next time!.

Enjoy!  : )

More Love Cards

Hello Friends!

Is everybody ready for the Oscars? Hope will be a good show.
Here I'm going to show the rest of the cards I did for this month. Hope you like them.

This card was made almost similar as my Shark Happy Birthday card but the sentiment is after a song. I had my radio on, and the song from one of my favorite groups from the 80's STYX "Come Sail Away with Me" was playing on, and I thought this was just the perfect sentiment for my card. I think music has the most clever titles to use in a cards.
The supplies are mostly the same as the others. Dies Lawn Fawn, My Favorite Things and Little B. Stamp: Lawn Fawn. Inks: Stampin Up and Tim Holt distress inks.

With this card was made with the intention that most people get marry on Valentine's Day, so I was thinking... a Happy Anniversary card will be perfect for that special day.
Supplies: Dies Taylored Expressions Little B, Lawn Fawn and Stampin Up punches. Ink: Stampin Up and Versafine.

 Thank you for stopping by.
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK!
